2012 New Help-for-Hope Ambassadors

2011 was a record year in terms of athletes running for Help-for-Hope ! Thank you so much to all of you for your commitment and generosity!

This New Year is going to be rich and exciting, with many big events are on the program! We are happy to present the following elite athletes who will be running under Help-for-Hope's colors in 2012.

Andreas Raelert
- World's fastest athlete over the Ironman distance
(world record since July 2011)
- Wins the European Championships in 2012
- Two-time Olympian
- Third in Hawaï in 2009

Michael Raelert
- World's fastest athlete over the Ironman 70.3 distance
- Wins a 2nd place podium in Regensburg for his first full
Ironman in June 2012
- In 2010, wins the European and World Championship (Ironman 70.3)
- Holds the world record since 2009

Swann Oberson
- World Champion at the 5 km swim in Shanghai, 2011
- Qualified for the Olympic Games 2012 in London
- Won first place at the World Cup in Dubaï (10km), 2010

Valentine Marchon
- Age 14, Swiss Triathlon champion 2009-2010-2011
- Swiss Duathlon champion 2011 (category 12-13 years old)
- Won the 2011 Escalade Race (for 5 consecutive year)
- Finished 1st in Lausanne at the 4km, 2011

Tesfaye Eticha
- Professional Swiss athlete of Ethiopian origin
- Marathon : 2h10'21'' in Zurich, 2009
- 7 times winner of the Lausanne Marathon
- Objective 2012 : represent Switzerland in the 2012 Olympics in London

Pierre Fournier
- Young and promising Swiss elite athlete over medium distances (5-10km)
- Finished 1st in Nyon in the Noviodurun race
- 8th place in the Lausanne Half-Marathon 2011
- Has reduced his professional work load to 80% in 2011-2012 to focus on his athletic potential
